Located on Rutgers Horticulture Research Farm 3 in East Brunswick NJ, The PAM Site features a wide range of instrumentation designed to measure different air pollutants and meteorological variables. It is a joint site between the Rutgers Department of Environmental Sciences and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Air Monitoring Group.

The PAM Site's location was chosen due to its centralized location in the state of New Jersey, and has been in continuous operation since 1994, making it the United States' oldest permanent PAMS facility.
